This blog is a place for me to record my thoughts and progress as I work with new (to me) .NET technologies. As a support engineer, I work on everything from VB6 batch jobs and Classic ASP websites, to some of the newest .NET functionality (the fun stuff). The problem is, when you hop back and forth between languages, you may not get back to the fun stuff for a few months. By then you've forgotten some of what you learned.
I spend a lot of time reconstructing why I did things a certain way. There have been times when I come across a problem that I remember encountering before, but I can't remember what I did to resolve it. By posting what I learn along the way, I hope to alleviate this problem.
